A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER 16:00
I begin my shift by checking all the liquor supplies are full and counting my
till.
17:00 As the bar begins to get busier I serve customers from
behind the bar and take drink orders. 18:00 I am out of sliced fruit
so I cut some more for garnishes 19:00 A group of people have ordered
cocktails so I rush about blending and mixing ingredients. 20:00
As it seems to be quiet I take a dinner break. The chefs make me a club sandwich. 21:00
The bar is messy so I rush around cleaning tables. 22:00 The bar
snacks are finished so I top them up. I fill up the dishwasher with dirty glasses. 23:00
I count my till, clean up the tables and bar area, lock the liquor away. 24:00
I finish my shift.
